Willman Morcillo was born in Cali, Colombia and raised in the United States. His life as an artist started after a career as a professional soccer player in the USA.

Willman is inspired by excellence and beauty in every endeavor and he seeks to bring more of that into this world through the quality and caliber of the people he works with. His musical influences cover the fire and passion of latin music, the soul and groove of funk and dance masters, the intense and intricate world of hard/heavy metal and finally, the deep connection he has with flamenco music and it's complex but captivating rhythmic patterns and tones.

Willman spent 2 years recently in Seoul, South Korea, where he helped create and manage a very active live music scene that brought together Koreans as well as foreigners in support of performing artists.  Now back in Los Angeles, he is working on a high school talent competition to help and develop new artists in the Los Angeles area, as well as producing live Latin music nights, to find, cultivate and promote high quality original Latin music, as well as expand supportive audiences and fan bases.

At the moment, you can also find him performing around Southern California with his own band, The Willman Morcillo Band.
